Is the onslaught of pings from texts, DMs, emails and calls leaving you overwhelmed?
Have you found yourself scrolling social feeds wondering if you should be living life differently?
Are you emotionally drained from trying to balance being a good daughter/sister/friend/girlfriend/wife/mother/boss, while working to achieve your own goals?
And do you feel a bit guilty about all this because...
well, #FirstWorldProblems.
We feel you.

We're in a well-documented crisis, with daily headlines (and the UK's first Burnout Report), highlighting how Millennial women are feeling it the hardest.
There are plenty of reasons why we’re struggling:
...the pace of life driven by technology
...the comparison culture fuelled by social media
... the gender work/life imbalance
We grew up being told we could "have it all" and we powered our way through #LeanIn culture.
Now we're exhausted. And we're struggling to define who we are, what we want, what we believe in and how we should be living our lives. And without that firm foundation, we’re getting a bit lost.

The Switch Off is a space to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend time with yourself - without distractions, expectations or pressure.
Our silent, phone-free sessions offer a rare moment of calm in busy lives. No talking, no scrolling - just gentle background music and the freedom to be still. Because sometimes the only way to ensure some headspace is to schedule it.
These sessions are for days when you want to be left alone, but not feel alone. When you need space to breathe, think, or simply sit quietly without needing to explain yourself.
They also create room for reflection - the kind that’s often pushed aside while you’re just getting through the day, the week, and year. The bigger questions. The quieter thoughts. The things that only surface when everything else stops.
The Switch Off is an invitation to reconnect - and a reminder that the most important relationship you’ll ever have is the one you have with yourself.

The evidence to show how switching off your phone is vital for your wellbeing is endless.
Studies continually demonstrate how it:
*improves mood
*reduces anxiety and stress
*improves sleep quality
*increases energy levels
*boosts focus and concentration
*helps you build deeper connections
We know all this. The benefits of turning off your phone have been proven time and time again.
And yet we don't.
Because it's bloody hard!

Once the distractions stop and the noise fades, clarity can emerge.
Across philosophy, psychology and religion the same idea keeps resurfacing: silence isn’t absence. It’s access.
It’s where you can finally hear the thoughts you’ve been drowning out.
“The answers you’re looking for are in the silence you’re avoiding.”

We have big visions but small budgets. The ultimate aim is to have our own space - a little sanctuary for women to retreat to whenever they need. But for now, we're building each room inside it, one session at a time.
